Portrait Session Guidelines

Deposits

A $50 deposit is required at time of booking your shoot. Balance of
shoot fee is due on or before shoot date.

For your convenience, we accept most major credit cards and electronic check payments via Paypal.

Cancellation

When you schedule a shoot we are holding a time slot open for you.
Kindly call us if you need to reschedule or cancel your shoot. If you
give us at least 48 hours advance notice we will give you a full refund of your deposit. If you call with less than 48 hours notice we are happy to credit your deposit towards another shoot, but unfortunately are not able to provide a refund.

Stylists

Unless otherwise indicated, the price of your portrait sitting fee does NOT
include the cost of a hair and makeup stylist. We have a number of independent stylists that we have worked with, and can arrange for a stylist to be on set for your shoot upon your request. Prices for most of these stylists range from $50 to $150, depending on number of clothing changes, hair style, etc. This money is typically paid directly to the stylist.

Wardrobe/Props

Wear wardrobe that you are comfortable in and that shows your personality. Please bring a variety of choices (at least 3-4) per outfit. Make sure all clothes are cleaned and pressed before your shoot.

For couples and groups, it is often a good idea to wear matching or complementary clothing choices (for example, everyone wears white button down shirts and blue jeans).

If you have a prop such as a musical instrument, family heirloom, or other small item you wish to include in your shoot, please bring it along!

Animals are welcome in portrait sessions so long as they are restrained.
